The film captures Ivan Marko’s pursuit of the artistic ideal. A confessional portrait documentary with Eastern European irony on Ivan Marko a celebrated 62 year old Hungarian ballet dancer and choreographer who after being a soloist for 7 years at the illustrious French choreographer, Maurice Bejart’s company, the Ballet of the XXth Century, returned to Hungary forming his own troupes driving them to dazzling artistic heights all around the world while being on the verge of existence fighting for financial support for his ensemble on a daily bases.
