Leghíresebb filmszerepében a Tanúban

Kállai Ferencet életének 85. évében vasárnap érte a halál. A művész temetéséről később történik intézkedés - olvasható a www.magyarszinhaz.hu honlapon.

Kállai Ferenc a klasszikus és mai világirodalom, valamint a magyar drámairodalom számos főszerepét játszotta el kiemelkedő jellemábrázoló erővel az Othello Cassiusától kezdve a Falstaff címszerepéig, Az ügynök halála fiúalakjától a mai magyar írók által írt figurákig. Utolsó színházi szerepe Cödlinger volt, Rejtő Néma revolverek városa című regényének színpadi változatában. A művész temetéséről később intézkednek.
